Hi, I'm kinda timid so I don't have much to say. Nina visits withme when she brings Dawn in for a dressing change. She took some more pictures Tuesday while Dr. Pearce was changing my dressing. He wanted to show her how much better my leg has been doing this week. I know he was worried about me, but now the blood supply is good and he thinks I can go to Nashville next Saturday. Nina said that my foster Mom is going to be Liz. I don't know anything about being in a home or retirement, but she said I would really love it because my foster Mom knows a lot about us greyhounds. She will help me adjust to my retirement and find my forever home..... but that will not be too soon 'cause my leg needs some time to heal. Well, that's about it .....

Kinda quiet
I got to go into a room this afternoon and visit with Nina. She took a few pictures, so you can get to know me. I am very quiet and don't seem to interact a lot just yet. All this is so new, but Dr. Pearce said that I am very cooperative. Taking care of me is no trouble. He changed my dressing and my incision is looking good. Don't know when I'll be released, but we are hoping by the end of next week. We'll see .....

Let Me Introduce My self
Hi Folks,
You are finally going to hear from me. I've been taking it easy at Dr. Pearce's clinic, hoping that I'd get a chance to let you hear from me. Dawn said that people read these blogs and it is a greyt way to communicate with potential forever homes and to let everyone know that the Angel Fund goes to help greyhounds like us. Well, Dr. Pearce did surgery on one of my leg muscles last Thursday. He did a special surgical procedure to shorten it. Now, we wait. I got to meet Nina about a week ago and then saw her again Saturday morning when she bought Dawn in for a dressing change. Everyone was really busy, so she came back to my kennel and loved on me for a few minutes and took some pictures. I'm a little shy, but I don't mind attention. So that 's about it for now.
